It takes less than a minute to make my point.

Do I really need scientist man to explain this? Ghostbusters 2016 is an excellent example of this.

We can ignore youtube's hurt feelings here and shift our focus to major corporations that release movie trailers. Now if they remove dislikes entirely would it really look much better if only less than a percent of people actually voted for the video? I don't think so. This assumes that 9% of people voted to like or dislike. So get rid of the number of likes/dislikes that are visible? Just show the bar? Well right now youtube rewind has a 94% dislike to like ratio with a total amount of pageviews of 164 million. Rewind would be 1 star with millions of one star ratings I would think. Bringing back the 5 star system isn't a bad idea in theory but it just presents the same problem youtube wants to get rid of. Second, people have discussed solutions to the like/dislike ratios. Whether or not more videos by the same channel will be recommended to you personally I don't know. It counts as engagement so it will make the video be recommended more. As far as I was a aware disliking a video would do the same as liking it. First of all youtube saying that disliking a video will make it appear less in recommended isn't true. So I have a few things I would like to say about youtube's comments about disliking videos.
